EC – Economy Mode
SL – Sleep Mode
To activate Standard Mode and begin heating the water to your desired temperature:
Press the "Temp" button
Press the "Light" button
The display will change to “St”, which stands for Standard Mode
This will ensure the hot tub begins heating and maintains your selected temperature throughout your stay.
Water Level Maintenance
Always keep the hot tub full of water. Please use the hose adjacent to the SPA to top off the water afterward to maintain proper function. This means that all jets are submerged in water. The spigot for the hose is on the deck between the main house entry door and the garage door.
After filling the SPA, please turn off the water at the spigot.
Water Quality
The SPA is professionally cleaned and water conditioned every Tuesday by Poolside. If you have any questions or concerns about water quality:
Call Poolside at 651-483-6600
Or, bring a small water sample to their showroom (just 3 minutes away):📍 121 East County Road C. They’ll analyze the water and let you know what chemicals (if any) are needed. You’ll find SPA chemicals in the resin SPA stairs. Note: water sample containers should be available in the stairs or you can take a clean glass, submerge it in the SPA water, empty it and then refill it with SPA water.
Use Rules:
For your safety, please do not adjust the Chemicals without specific instructions from Poolside.
All users must have swimsuits on
All users must rinse off in the shower prior to and after using the SPA
The SPA cover must remain on the SPA when not in active use
No food or beverages are allowed in or on the SPA surfaces at anytime
Thanks for following these rules of use, ensuring your safe enjoyment and the enjoyment of future guests.
Heating, Cooling & Dehumidifier
Our home features two separate heating and cooling systems to keep you comfortable year-round:
Cooling & Dehumidifying
We have 3 mini split Mitsubishi A/C units located throughout our home. These units are used for both cooling and removing humidity.
Use either of the two provided remote controls to adjust the temperature and settings on any of the three units..
The remotes appear complicated, but can be very easy to use. We highly recommend you watch the video we’ve provided to learn the most efficient and effective way to use the remote and maintain cool and dry interior air conditions.
NOTE: From approximately November to April the A/C units are turned off and the remotes are removed from our home. If the units are used in the winter the condensation on the coils can freeze up and destroy the units so they are not suitable for use during the winter season.
Heating
For heating, the home uses a boiler system controlled by two Sensi wall-mounted thermostats. Each zone has its own thermostat for customized comfort.
There are 2 heating zones:
Main Floor - The main floor thermostat is located in the hallway to the two bedrooms.
Lower Level - The lower-level thermostat is located on the wall outside of the bathroom.
Simply adjust the Sensi thermostat in each area to your desired temperature.
Please keep in mind that heat rises so we typically have the lower level set at our desired temp, the main level a little lower, and then run both ceiling fans upstairs to keep the air circulating.
